David Kuria is the Chief Executive Officer of Ecotact Limited and the Regional Social Entrepreneur of the Year for Africa 2009. He is the Urban Adviser, Civil Society Urban Development Programme, of the Embassy of Sweden 2010-2011. He is the Cluster Leader–Investment Partnerships- Further Advancing the Blue Revolution Initiative (FABRI)- USAID funded programme 2011-2014. Kuria holds a Degree in Architecture (Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology) and Master of Business Administration- Corporate Management (2009-2011). Sustainable Communities course, (Bridging the Gap between Research and Action)- at Helsinki University of Technology, Finland, 2007-2009. He is a member of the Rotary family (Rotary Club of Langata Nairobi, District 9200).
He is in the Advisory team, Ashoka Sanitation–Africa- an innovations team of 8 Africa States, developing sustainable sanitation options and technologies, sanitation management modeling and operations and maintenance systems.
He is the current editor of ECO DIGEST- a regional newsletter on current treads and opportunities on environment management.
